The Reporter Style of Blogging

Here a blogger keeps track of the truly interesting articles that they find in their daily exploration of blogs and articles. If you read 50-100 articles, you would select perhaps 5 of the best and most insightful ones to include in your blog. You would list the blog titles and either a short excerpt or a summary of what you read along with a link to the original article.
This can provide real value to your blog readers. Here a blogger acts as sort of a reporter and will list out the best articles and blogs that they found. You read and select the articles or news that is important for your niche. This is great for bloggers that spend a great deal of time reading and interacting with their market niche.
Each day you would select one of these articles to expand on with your analysis of how it will impact your market.
This is truly valuable to your readers because you are sifting through a lot of material and selecting only the best material that will have the maximum impact on your market. By providing commentary and analysis on the major news events, you are positioned as the expert and current information source in your market.
You will find you are in a steep learning mode when you do this type of blogging. You are always looking for the next new thing. You develop a following of readers who also want to keep up on the newest trends, but don’t want to expend the effort themselves.
