6 ways to get customers

- Show the benefit of what you have to offer. Speak in terms of the results that will be obtained. This benefit should be part of your headline in your advertising piece.
- Offer something such as a free report, free analysis, a drawing for a vacation to Hawaii or something if they respond. Without an offer, your response rate is much lower.
- Clearly state why you are different from your competition. Stand out from the rest with some clear benefit if they do business with you. This could be reputation, speed, quality, price or how easy you are to do business with.
- Be confident and speak with authority. People want to do business from companies that will get results.
- Carefully target your customer. Are you contacting the decision maker? Do they have money to do business with you?
- Timing is important. You need to reach prospects when they need you. This can be part of targeting based on some event such as someone launching a new business or selling their home. You can also send out your message on as part of a regular campaign.
