How to choose a SEO company…
This blog entry was posted on April 7, 2007.
This is one of the most important decisions that a company faces. Setting the Internet marketing strategies and the SEO implementation affects your company’s revenue, branding and risk from banned from the search engines. Your choice needs to be based on past SEO results, capabilities and reputation.
SEO Results
You need results for your company website. There are a lot of companies making wild promises and offering worthless guarantees. Google clearly states: Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings. The only real way is to look at the results your SEO Company is getting with their other clients. They should also clearly talk about their SEO process and how they get their results.
Capabilities
Your SEO services company needs to have a full range of Internet services including marketing consulting, design, programmers and of course a SEO team to take care of you from analysis to implementation. They need to have the capabilities to work in multiple technologies: PHP, ASP, ASPX, HTML, Flash etc.
Reputation
Reputation is clearly the most important. You need integrity and a bias toward results. If your SEO company posts results for their clients, contact these clients to check references. Only choose a company that employs “white hat” or ethical SEO methods to minimize any risk of search engine penalties.
We at Doug Williams and Associates are such a company and we invite you to request a free website analysis to see where your website stands today with the search engines.
